About this School Project (Dia de los Muertos)
Students learned about the holiday, Dia de los Muertos or, Day of the Dead. We discussed colors and designs as we practiced creating our very own sugar skulls. Students cut construction paper to create the shape of their sugar skull and then they created their own Day of the Dead style designs and colored them in with brightly colored markers. Finally, students used colored construction paper to create three-dimensional flowers.
