About this School Project (Monet River Reflections)
Second-grade artists observed photographs of trees and the sky reflecting on the water. We also looked at Monet's artwork that he painted showing trees reflecting in the Seine River in France. They painted trees and folded the paper to create a reflection. After the paint dried, students added detail to the trees with oil pastels and then added a sunrise/sunset with chalk pastels.
