About this School Project (Veterans Day: Grades K-5)
All of the students in grades K-5 created a project in honor of Veteran’s Day. Kinder students tore paper to make a US flag, 1st graders water colored a Georgia O’Keefe like Poppy flower before mounting it to some fun musical paper, 2nd graders watercolored a Field of Poppies and made a collaborative flag to hang in our hallway, 3rd graders created an Eagle collage with magazines, 4th graders made a optical illusion like flag using markers and oil pastels, and 5th graders painted poppy flowers using watered down paint and coffee filters.
