About this School Project (Mondrian Lines and Shapes)
Kindergarten artists learned about Piet Mondrian and his horizontal and vertical STRAIGHT lines. They learned that when horizontal and vertical lines are combined they make squares and rectangles. Then, they practiced using a ruler to draw straight lines. They used liquid glue to glue their black lines, remembering to make the skinniest worm of glue. Finally, they painted with the primary colors and experimented with overlapping colors to make new colors!
