I made an alien reading a book at an amusement park. I used color sticks, marker and crayons. I got my idea from the who what where game. I made it by drawing. I made it because I thought it was funny. The elements and principles I used are line, shape, color, value, balance, contrast, rhythm, movement and unity.?
About this School Project (3rd Grade Art Q1)
These artworks are "Choice Based Artwork" using open studio center materials. The student artist is responsible for coming up with an idea of what they would like to create (sometimes the teacher may present an artist or technique as a source of inspiration). Next they need to come up with a plan as to how to make their idea a reality (or how to get what's in their head out on paper). The student must choose what materials will work best to create their idea. They use the materials to make their art while working to solve any problems that may arise. Finally, upon completion of the artwork, students reflect and write Artist Statements about their work.
