About this School Project (Surreal Textures)
Sixth grade students learned about tactile texture (texture you can feel) and visual texture (smooth to the touch but looks like texture). They practiced drawing unexpected texture on fruit or other items. They looked at a photo of artist Meret Oppenheim's dishes covered in fur as an example of using texture to create something Surreal.
