About this School Project (6th Grade Name Art)
Students in 6th grade incorporated personal symbols and the letters of their name into a work of art.
Students completed a graphic organizer, writing 10 words that describe the student: interests, personality traits, hobbies, etc.
Next, students drew a symbol to represent each word, before creating a sketch for their larger piece. Students included the following in their final design:
-The letters of their name
-Incorporate personal symbols into their name art in some way
-Add color using a variety of media: colored pencil, marker, sharpie, oil pastel, watercolor.
