About this School Project (Spider Webs and Spiders!????)
We looked at photos of real spider webs. We talked about how the web is the spider’s home and how it catches its food. The web is sticky! So bugs stick to the web.
The students knew that spiders have 8 legs. We talked about how we would draw 4 legs on one side and 4 legs on the other side because 4+4=8.
We used metallic markers to draw our webs. The markers were so fun!
We made a big X in the middle and then added more lines to create our webs.
We tried out all the metallic marker colors.
If the students had time, they added a spider. They cut a spider body out of purple construction paper. They added faces and 8 legs. Enjoy our spooky spider webs!
