About this School Project (Symmetrical Monsters from Planet Symmetry by the TK-1st Grades)
We have been talking a bit about SYMMETRY in Art Class and learning how Artists can use this as a DESIGN ELEMENT. We learned how to FOLD our paper, make a line, and then RUB our paper where this line is. This can leave a slight SHADOW LINE that shows us exactly where to make our matching line to show Symmetry. These LINES were made using OIL PASTELS and we rubbed using the handle of our scissors. Sometimes we just peeked inside our fold and guessed at where the lines landed on the second half of our paper. We had fun using our IMAGINATIONS to make some crazy-scary MONSTERS from PLANET SYMMETRY! We hope you enjoy our show!
