About this School Project (Molas)
Second grade found Panama and the San Blas islands on a map of the world, and learned about the Kuna people of these islands! The Kuna women make beautiful art called Molas. Since it is Hispanic Heritage Month, we watched a video on this tribe of people and discussed their culture and what molas are used for. We then created our own animal molas using oil pastels and cut paper!
