About this School Project (Mexican Aztec Suns)
Students in Kindergarten, First and Second Grade are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. (September 15- October 15, 2022. These classes learned about Mexican Aztec Suns and created their own Sun using cut painted paper, (students painted paper prior to cutting) and cut construction paper. Students were asked to add details to their sun such as the rays of the sun and the features of the face. The classes glued their cut pieces to a larger sheet of colored construction paper of their choice.
