About this School Project (1st: Fall Leaf Marker Print)
1st grade students learned about Pennsylvania trees, we explored the Oak and the Sugar Maple! They picked either to trace the oak leaf outline or sugar maple leaf outline to begin. We reviewed line and pattern and students created line patterns within their leaves with permanent marker. Then, we did a marker print by coloring with marker on a plastic sheet of paper, spraying it with water then pressing it onto our leaf drawings to make a beautiful print!
