About this School Project (2nd Grade Inspires Inquiry!)
Students identified what being an inquirer in art class looks like! They identified thoughts, feelings, & actions they might think, see, or hear. Then they created a visual reflection or inspiration of this process! Being an Inquirer is one of our IB PYP Learner Profile Attributes. According to
IBO.org, it means "We nurture our curiosity, developing skills for inquiry and research. We know how to learn independently and with others. We learn with enthusiasm and sustain our love of learning throughout life." This is an important 21st century skill that allows students to follow their interests, be creative, and learn from and about the world around them!
Students were working toward the following Ohio Visual Art Standards:
7PE Generate artmaking ideas from their daily experiences and the environment.
2PR Envision what cannot be observed directly and depict it visually
