About this School Project (Kindergarten: Envision Your Own Painting)
Kindergarten students continued to practice being responsible with tempera cake paints, making sure to clean their brush in between colors and swirl softly in the paint and water so no one gets splashed. They also showed their Learner Profile Attributes of creativity & independence thinking of their own idea for a painting! Some students were inspired by artwork that they saw in the room while others used their imangionation or memory for ideas!
Students were working toward the following Ohio Visual Art Standards:
1PR Explore and experiment with a range of art materials and tools to create and communicate personal meaning.
2PR Generate ideas and images for artwork based on observation, memory, imagination and experience.
