About this School Project (Line Maps)
After looking at old maps filled with ships, dragons, sea monsters, and LINES we learned the steps to create some amazing ships, a compass rose, and how to turn lines into a beautiful map. Once the lines were created with permanent marker we colored some details with crayon and for the final touches tore the edges, wrinkled it a few times, and "painted" it with teabags! Not only did we learn how to draw new things and make something look old, but we learned that everyday items including tea or coffee can be used to make amazing artwork too!
