About this School Project (Geometric Shapes Everwhere)
Students learned about shape as an element of art. This lesson focuses on geometric shapes which are determined mathematically and have a mathematical name. These are shapes that are manmade and can be seen all around us from buildings to everyday objects. Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 were given pre-cut geometric shapes and glue. They attached the shapes to create objects of their choice and used crayons/ markers to add any details.
