Artist Statement (what Wyatt20598 said about their artwork)
My artwork is a zentangle panther with a watercolor background. How I made background was by splattering a couple colors on the paper that started turning brown. I tried to paint over it and make it more colorful but that only made it more brown. Eventually it started drying out and I tried to make it more wet by dripping water from a sponge onto it, but I accidentally squeezed it to hard and the water made a giant white spot in the middle of my paper. I picked it up to dump the water off and it took the rest of the paint with it, so I restarted and only used purple and blue. After mixing it a bunch of times I added way to much salt to it. I didn’t know that I had put to much salt on it but I like how it turned out anyway. I made my zentangle animal by tracing the outline of a panther about six times until I was satisfied and then drew it on to my piece of paper. On the zentangles I kind of just free for alled it and I think it looks really good, but I think I could have done better on the eye.
