About this School Project (Dot Day Line Sculptures)
Students created their own unique dot on the first day of Art class, inspired by the book, "The Dot!" Every artist is unique and creates in their own way. Sometimes beginning Art just starts with making a mark! The following week we learned all about how to fold paper into different types of lines - straight, wavy, curly, zigzag, etc. Students learned how to then take their paper lines and give them "feet" so they could stand to create a sculpture!
