About this School Project (My Kandinsky Color Study)
We were introduced to Wassily Kandinsky, the artist with "Super Powers". He could see colors when he heard music. His favorite music was jazz.
We then studied his Color Study: Squares with Concentric Circles.
3’s : Collage - We used different size construction paper circles, and glue to make our own 4 Square Concentric Circle art.
4’s : Mixed Media - Create a tree using paint sticks and construction paper in the style of Kandinsky.
PreK : Mixed Media - We used oil pastels with water color paints to make our own 2x6 Pattern Concentric Circle art.
We watched the video on YouTube of Madi and Dada meeting Kandinsky.
