Artist Statement (what Kaylin1819 said about their artwork)
Bridget Riley was the artist that inspired my painting. I did not really like working with the water soluble oil paints because I’m not sure I used them in the right way. It was hard to work with and I didn’t like the fact that it didn’t dry fast. It is cool to say that I have painted with that medium though.
About this School Project (P7 Inspired by Women Artists)
Advanced Study Art learners are working independently on their own portfolios. For their last project they had to research three of the top 20 women painters in art. Then they created a slide show about the artists of their choice that they liked. After they created a work of art that was influenced by one of the artists they researched.
