About this School Project ((Orange) Woven Heart)
Students first created a warm painted paper and a cool painted paper. One became the loom and one was cut into strips to weave into the paper loom. Students then chose a colored paper to create a heart frame, and added another colored paper for a weaving sandwich. Holes were punched around the edge so that students could finish them off with a ship stitch. I made a few tweaks to this project that art teacher Cassie Stephens shared.
