About this School Project (Chalk Texture Emu)
1st grade had a fun time creating the texture (the way something feels or looks like how it should feel) of this cute little emu with super messy chalk. They used construction paper crayons that show up great on dark paper for the eyes, then they used quick short chalk lines to show feathery texture, they even used light bumpy lines to show the super soft fuzzy flyaway feathers!
These beauties are being loved in our building and are now going by the name of "End of year teacher portraits!"
