About this School Project (Kindergarten Color Wheel Creatures)
Students in Kindergarten explored color. Students learned the three primary colors (Red, Yellow, Blue), and watched a demonstration on how to create secondary colors by mixing two primary colors.
Next, students painted a primary/secondary color-wheel using only the primary colors. Then, students cut out the color wheel and glued it to a larger sheet of paper. Students used their imagination to turn their color wheel into a creature.
Students included the following in their work:
-Creature parts (head, body, legs, etc)
-Texture and detail
-The creature's environment
-Fill your page with color!
