About this School Project (Radiant You! (3rd Grade))
The students learned about the expressive artwork of Jean-Michel Basquiat, an artist who used many words and symbols in his work. The students painted expressive backgrounds and then used oil pastels to add words and symbols to describe themselves. Everything surrounds a silhouette that symbolizes the student. These artworks show why each student is radiant and awesome!
