About this School Project (Spiral Exploration)
First we listened to and looked at the illustrations in the story Swirl By Swirl Spirals In Nature. Students were challenged to create a drawing that included at least 10 spirals. To complete the project students learned how to paint with watercolor paints, wash their brush between colors, and "let the water do the work" so the paint flows off the brush.
