About this School Project (Bouquets for Mom (Inspired by Picasso's Bouquet of Peace 1958))
Students traced their hand and a little bit of their wrist to start this project. They colored their skin with crayon, and those who wanted to add personal items such as watches, bracelets and rings did so. The students then drew flowers above their hands (these are organic shapes) and stems behind the fingers. This gives the illusion of picking flowers. Lastly the students used tempera paint to add color to their flowers. These art pieces are very similar to Pablo Picasso's- Bouquet of Peace 1958. Check It Out!
