About this School Project (Wonderful Astronauts)
Students in 4K, Kindergarten and 1st grade learned about how to draw their face in proportion. They designed a space suit for their astronauts and used markers to add color. Kindergarteners and 1st graders used pastels to make their outer space backgrounds full of stars and planets. We added a 3-D face mask to their space helmets. This project was inspired by the story "We're All Wonders" written by R. J. Palacio.
