Artist Statement (what BL67 said about their artwork)
My name is Bea. I am in Yellow Room. My favorite medium to work with is pipe cleaners. What I discovered about myself in art this year is that I could do a lot of new pipe cleaner things. My favorite art project this year is making the paper houses.
About this School Project ((Yellow) We studied Marc Chagall)
Students learned about the artist Marc Chagall and how he often used dream like images in his artwork. Students were given prompts (draw a place to live, something that grows, transportation, your self, something that flies) and they changed the orientation of their page every time they drew something new. This give a dream like mixed up look to their drawings. They finished by painting and adding black lines.
