About this School Project (3rd Grade Rainbow Weavings)
During this unit, 3rd grade students created a rainbow weaving using cardboard, paint, yarn, and cotton balls.
They learned that a weaving is made on a loom that is strung with warp strings, and that weft strings are woven over or under the warp to add color and pattern.
They learned that weaving is a type of fiber art, and can be found throughout history and all across the world!
