About this School Project (CD Loom Weaving)
5th grade artists learned the history of weaving, specifically about Kente Cloth weaving in Ghana and the symbolism of the Kente Cloth colors. Using a CD, students created their warp thread with yarn, then wove yarn in the colors of their choice in a circular pattern.
