About this School Project (Grade 3- Figure Sculpture)
Grade 3 students viewed 3-D figure sculptures created by artist Augusta Savage. She also founded a school and taught at the Harlem Community Arts Center. Third graders created their own figure sculptures in clay on clay bases, then painted the surface with acrylic paints.
