I made this art work because it is my first communion.It is close to Easter too.
About this School Project (2nd Grade Station XII Shrines for Jesus)
The 2nd Grade have made some tiny shrines to display a picture of Jesus on the Cross or STATION XII. This is a simple memento of their upcoming First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation, which posed a few structural challenges for them in dealing with the rudimentary Architectural Design & Problem Solving of building walls, a roof, back, and base. Overall they have done a beautiful job, considering the difficulty of the medium. They have not dealt with gluing wood before in my class, so there was a bit of listening and following new directions which posed challenges and new frustrations. They have however, met these challenges head on and come up with some BEAUTIFUL Designs for their Station Housing. We hope you enjoy our show!
