About this School Project (4 Elements of Art)
Using markers students tested their knowledge of four basic elements of Art. Color (rainbow order), Lines(they know at least six), Shapes(both organic and geometric), and texture. Students learned why artist use each of these elements in their work. Students were also able to practice their name.
Week 1 dividing out the sheet, creating cloud and name
Week 2 color theory / rainbow order
Week 3 at least 6 types of line
Week 4 2-d and 3-d shapes
Week 5. Drawing texture. With option of rubbing texture plates for younger students
