About this School Project (6TH 1 POINT PERSPECTIVE)
1 Point perspective is an art concept that allows the artist to show objects on a flat surface in perspective, or how it appears to the human eye. Objects that are far away appear to be smaller than what they actually are. In practicing this concept, artists are able to make drawings that are three dimensional and give the objects form. They began with a horizon line and a vanishing point, then traced a variety of sizes of squares a rectangles. The shapes were them turned into 3D forms in 1 point perspective (all lines that go into the distance go to 1 point- the vanishing point). They finished to drawing with chalk pastels to make the forms “glow”.
