About this School Project (4th Grade Jim Dine Hearts)
4th grade students learned about pop artist Jim Dine and how he took a simple symbol and made it come alive with color. To create their artwork they used tempura paint and a printmaking technique to fill their heart with warm colors and background with cool colors. They added a black oil pastel line and white broken line around their heart to make it look 3D.
