About this School Project (Jim Dine Hearts: Grade 2)
Students looked at Jim Dine’s painting with the four hearts paying close attention to his use of color. Students drew overlapping hearts on their paper before adding a colorful background with thick dash lines and tempera paint. Students then used paint sticks within their hearts before outlining them with black paint.
