About this School Project (Symmetrical Tigers-K, 1)
Students learned about Lunar New Year and the year of the tiger. We discussed symmetry and students designed half of a tiger's face. The next two classes, they painted on their design and folded the paper to print their painting on the other side. Finally, they created a painted piece of purple paper for the background, showing that they used all three secondary colors; orange, green, and violet.
