About this School Project (New Year's)
Students learned the difference between warm and cool colors. They then created Happy New Year, 2022 designs and used lines to intersect their drawings. If the background was warm, the images were cool, and vice versa. Lastly, they cut them out and mounted them to background colors.
K & 1st grade were given coloring sheets to complete using warm and cool colors.
2nd was given the sheet but had to draw their own intersecting lines.
3rd was given the sheet but had to draw their numbers and intersect lines. We also did a collaboration project with their teacher and incorporated writing about the New Year.
4-6 drew their images from the beginning.
