About this School Project (1Be 3D Penguins)
These penguins are created with a 3"x3" white square, a 4"x6" rectangle (body), a triangle cut from a 4" square (orange webbed feet), pointed ovals from a 2"x3" rectangle (flippers), a 1"x 2" rectangle (cut into a beak), and many scraps. By the end of the first class, they all looked alike, as the children were learning about cutting curves, creating cones, and generally basic construction of the different body parts. They left feeling very confident.
For the second class, they were shown how to fringe, curl and accordion fold. They could create "Rockhoppers" or "Rock stars" - realistic or imaginary penguins. Such joy! I love these creations. I hope that you are happy with them as I am!
