About this School Project (2nd-Aluminum Line Design)
For this project students used their styrofoam printing plate from our previous printmaking project. The printing plate were sprayed with adhesive and a thin sheet of aluminum fool was placed on top. They rubbed the aluminum foil until they could see their line designs showing through. During our next class students were given back their foil covered styrofoam which had been sprayed with a light coat of black spray paint. They used steel wool to remove the spray paint from the smooth areas of their styrofoam and the lines remained black. Lastly they used sharpies to add some color.
