About this School Project (2-C Arctic Animals)
For this lesson 2nd graders learned about line, texture and a little Canadian art history. We looked at the art of Canadian Artist Ted Harrison for inspiration on designing our arctic landscapes. Next, students added a native arctic animal of their choice. Most choose either a textured polar bear, arctic fox, narwhale or arctic hare.
