About this School Project (5-Ceramic Pendants)
Fifth graders used red or white clay to create a clay pendant. The clay was pressed out with the heal of their hand and then stamped with the bottom of their shoe. The clay was fired and then the pendants were glazed using a variety of glazes. The pendants were refired and the glazes came out glossy and smooth. The pendants were added to a string to make a necklace.
