About this School Project (Paul Klee Lego Castles)
This was a combination of a printmaking and painting project, students used Duplos to stamp and assemble shapes on to their paper, to create a castle structure. Then students added additional shapes and details of their choosing with permanent marker. The castles were then painted in with watercolors. These artworks were inspired by the abstract artist, Paul Klee. Before stamping their castles, we looked at some of Klee's geometric paintings of buildings and analyzed them.
