About this School Project (Broadway Boogie Woogie inspired by Mondrian)
We learned about the artist, Mondrian for this project. We were art detectives and found all the clues in his painting, Broadway Boogie Woogie. We discovered that Mondrian's Broadway Boogie Woogie was a city! We listened to Boogie Woogie music and did the Boogie Walk dance!
For our art project we created our own city using straight ,black lines. We formed squares and rectangles to create buildings. When we painted our buildings, we used the colors Mondrian loved: red, yellow and blue. Check out our Mondrian-inspired cities!
