About this School Project (Kindergarten's 1st Self-Portrait)
What's more adorable than a Kindergartner's 1st self-portrait? Without much guidance, other than learning that a self-portrait is a picture of yourself, students were instructed to draw a picture of themselves! This is a great assessment to see where all my student's are at and a great introduction to the concept of Art. Students will be given these drawings back when they are in 5th grade, when they will complete another self-portrait! We will surely have a lot of fun when we compare the two drawings!
