About this School Project (Secondary Colors Mosaic - 2nd)
For the first step of this project, we reviewed mixing of the primary colors to create secondary colors. Students painted 3 different pieces of paper green, orange, and purple, but they were only give primary colors (red, blue, & yellow)! After that, we learned about mosaics! A mosaic is a work of art made by setting small pieces of glass, stone, tile or paper onto another surface to make patterns or pictures. Students got to choose a mosaic shape/image that they wanted to create and used their secondary colored painted paper to create mosaic pieces.
