About this School Project (Tim Burton Inspired art)
For this lesson students will work on talking about the famous artist Tim Burton. We will discuss the traditional aspects his art was taken from (German Expressionism) as well as discuss what has made him such a success throughout the world. Students will review his artwork his has created outside of film. From here they must then create a painting with elements that come off the page that are inspired by Tim Burton's design.
Students will identify the art movement that inspired Tim Burton.
Students will identify the specific markers that make up Tim Burton's overall artistic style.
Students will create an artwork inspired by Tim Burton's style.
