About this School Project (Haunted House Silhouette)
When beginning this project, students were first read the book In the Haunted House by Eve Bunting in order to set the mood and gather ideas. Students then discussed how an artist creates or captures a silhouette in nature. They then created a realistic or spooky house by following teacher-led directions while adding their own ideas. Finally, they added additional spooky or realistic details.
