What a wonderful piece of artwork. You can tell that the artist really put a lot of thought and care into every stroke of color. It appears to be a picture of a dog shaking water from its fur. On the surface, the meaning seems very clear - almost mundane - but I wonder if there is truly a deeper meaning to this piece. Perhaps the dog shaking water from its body represents a reminder to rid ourselves of the things that weigh us down. Maybe the true message of this piece is that we ought to remove the things that hinder us from our lives. Or maybe this dog is telling us that what may feel like it is soaking through us and dragging us down is in reality much easier to fling away from ourselves. It is no longer a lake pulling us down, but simply droplets of water flying through the air away from us. Wow, I love it when art is used to tell a hidden story!
