This is profound! The way you have incorporated shapes thematically, with repetition that’s not “in your face,” but instead clever, subtle and nearly overlooked, yet magically felt by the viewer. And then the juxtaposition of soft watercolor against harsh ripped solid opaque paper, which itself lies in irregular shapes over the repetitive shapes. Contradiction seems to be woven beautifully throughout this piece. Art like this makes me want to know what the artist was thinking and feeling as they created it. Fascinating.
